Michelle received her degree in Exercise Physiology and was a collegiate athlete specialized in strength and conditioning and the treatment of sports related injuries. She excels in Olympic Weightlifting and continues to increase her skill set of strength and conditioning through many Continuing Education programs.
She coaches athletes of various levels of ability to success through a variety of protocols. She has competed in the 2009 and 2010 CrossFit Games. She has designed High School Football, Baseball, Cheer and Soccer Programs to Kids Healthy Living programs. She has extensive experience in rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. She also continues to keep up with her skills on the developing evidence-based treatment plans for various orthopedic injuries.
She has had the pleasure of working with athletes at CrossFit NC, CrossFit Cape Fear, Performance Chiropractic, and is the founder of CrossFit Fort Bragg, CrossFit Kids Fort Bragg, and Fayetteville Weightlifting Club. She has worked with several groups in the 82nd Airborne, Special Forces Groups, and other Contracting Agencies. She administers to athletes with Functional Movement evaluations, and appropriate corrective protocol.
Prior to CrossFit, she had the opportunity to learn a diverse understanding of Orthopedics and Physical Therapy procedures were she assisted for 3 years.
She enjoys sharing time with people that can make her laugh, and of course training!

Celest has been training for 6 years and truly loves watching each one of her clients grow and achieve their goals. She believes that wellness goes beyond just a “work-out” and is an educational process and a lifestyle. To her, wellness is a harmony of physical and mental well-being that incorporates aspects of “clean” nutrition, adequate sleep, and managed stress levels along with cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. It is important to her that she helps each and every single person she works with understand how to implement and incorporate all these concepts into their lives.
She graduated with B.S. degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Kinesiology and double minor in Psychology and Neuro-Biology. She is a CrossFit Level 1 Coach, Olympic Lifting Coach, CrossFit/Pose Running Coach, and NASM-Certified Personal Trainer.
She is also experienced in counseling / life coaching; focusing on exercise, nutrition, disease prevention and disease management.
She enjoys taking on new endeavors and continues to challenge herself by setting personal goals and challenges her clients to do the same. She has completed the Austin Marathon, several 5k’s, 10K’s, and triathlons. She also enjoys a variety of activities such as yoga, mountain and road biking, kayaking, hiking, jui-jitsu, or just playing with her dogs, Colt and Vince.
